Who we are

Wisconsin MIA Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that operates to support the recovery and identification of America’s MIAs and to educate the public about this mission and the sacred promise to bring everyone home.

We aim to fulfill the mission by supporting the efforts of the University of Wisconsin Missing-in-Action Recovery and Identification Project (UW MIA RIP), the premier university MIA forensics program in the world and partner with the Defense POW/MIA Accountability Agency (DPAA).
